(LONG BEACH) – Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D-Long Beach) issued the following statement today in response to one of the largest contracts in the Air Force’s history being awarded to Northrop Grumman Corporation for the development and building of 80 to 100 long-range stealth bombers.
“As Chair of the Assembly Select Committee on Aerospace, I am excited at the possibilities this contract holds for California. As a leader in aerospace, research and education, I look forward to working to bring as many of these jobs to the region as possible. Aerospace is alive and well in California and continues to soar to new limits in its potential.”
Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell represents the 70th Assembly District which includes Long Beach, Signal Hill, San Pedro and Catalina Island.
