Assembly Education Committee to Hold Hearing on Access to Internet for Distance Learning
Statewide and Local Education Leaders to Testify
(Sacramento) - The Assembly Education Committee, chaired by Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D – Long Beach), will be holding a joint informational hearing with the Assembly Committee on Communications and Conveyance titled “New Reality: Students’ Access to the Internet for Distance Learning.”
Panelists will examine the digital divide, its impact on students and educators, and discuss industry and local initiatives to promote accessibility and connectivity for students.
